China Blog: A lesson in Journalism
This was so important that I had to post this tonight (10:53pm) Beijing time. For all of you folks that wondered what happened to the respectable profession of journalism I can show you a clear cut example. Fortunately I can also show you how the few remaining respectable journalist treat those who try to disguise their agenda as news.

I have always admired Bill Moyers and he has only moved up a few notches after this exchange. Please watch the entire clip to see how the attacker gets attacked by real professionals.

All I can say is WOW!! Porter must be hating life right about now!!!
Before I became an independent media and training consultant I worked for CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and BBC. I kept hearing stories about Fox news but it wasn't until I became a special project producer for CBS that I got to see just how unprofessional their network news operation is.

All TV Networks have bad anchors, reporters and producers, but Fox News seems to collect them. I really do not care about Fox blatant biases because other networks have biases of their own, but what I do find unacceptable is the lack of professionalism shown from top to bottom of this network. If I had a producer that was openly confrontational like that while inviting a guest to come on my show that producer would be out of a job in a nano-second.
Couldn't agree more Cavalierman. It is shocking to see that this happens at all!! But that would be an outsiders point of view.

How is the Pacific?
