Gilbert Arenas hurt again....

Insanity: –noun, plural -ties.
1. the condition of being insane; a derangement of the mind.
2. Law. such unsoundness of mind as affects legal responsibility or capacity.
3. Psychiatry. (formerly) psychosis.
4. extreme folly; senselessness; foolhardiness.
5.
Someone who pays for Wizards season tickets.
I tried to warn everyone that would listen that re-signing Arenas was a
bad idea and that their money would have been better spent on someone
like Elton Brand. Now the resurgent 76ers have Brand while the Wizards
have a 100 million dollar player that will miss a significant portion
of the season for the second straight year.
This knee business is critically serious because Gilbert's game is
based on incredible speed and after two straight years of knee problems
you have to wonder if the front office did their medical homework. I
also have a serious problem maxing out the contract of a guy that bulks
when the coach asks him to play championship quality defense.
The Wizards are a classic example of a team that is satisfied with just
making the playoffs over winning a championship. If they wanted to win
a championship they would have made smarter moves this off season.
As a season ticket holder should I ask for a discount for this
diminished product? If players and coaches are encouraged to seek fair
market value why can't fans seek the same?
