The following coaches/GMs are already in trouble and may not see the end of this season:
1.
Matt Millen/Rod Marrinelli – I was shocked to see the
Lions come back versus the pack only to collapse like a cheap tent
during an F-5 tornado. Matt Millen has a good defensive coach in
Marrinelli but the Lions are just cursed. Even Marrinelli's defense
looks cursed. If I’m the Detroit Owner I cannot sell this team fast
enough. I feel for Lions fans…maybe you guys should burn that stadium
down and play outside or maybe they should just pack up and move to say
Toronto.
2.
Lane Kiffin – He was rumored to be getting a pink slip
last year and that @ss thumpin by the Broncos this season did not help
his case. The rumors of Al Davis making that move are front page news
on most major sports news outlets. How bad is it? Kiffen won today and
still could get a pink slip after this game.
3.
Marvin Lewis – Talk about a fall from grace! A few
years back Marvin Lewis was one Carlson Palmer Playoff injury from the
Superbowl and now the Bengals look like the old Bungals. Lewis has lost
control of this team and they appear to be in serious trouble. I think
Lewis is in definite danger of not making it to the end of the season.
4.
Brad Childress – Many people were predicting great
things from the Vikings this year with or without Brett Favre. Once it
became clear that Favre was not coming to Minnesota Childress placed
his hopes back on Tavaris Jackson hoping that he would take some big
steps especially with all of the talent he is surrounded with. The
short answer thus far on Jackson is he ain’t there yet. If the Vikings
continue to nose dive Childress might be in trouble.
5.
Jack Del Rio – What is the deal with the Jaguars? It is
now time to start taking a closer look at Jack Del Rio’s leadership.
They lost a bunch of O-lineman which really hurt their run heavy
offense, but that team just does not have the same fire they seemed to
have last year. Del Rio has certainly earned the right to play this
season out but if Jacksonville tanks hard he could be in trouble.
Granted this is only week #2 but some of these guys have history working against them.
