Welcome back to reality Patriots Nation

So much for being invincible. If the Kansas City Chiefs could play the
Pats that tough I can only imagine what would’ve happened if the
Patriots played in a stronger division. If not for 4 drops by KC's best
WR Dwayne Bowe this game would have went into overtime. If someone told
you KC would take the Pats into Overtime you would have immediately
started searching that person for the drugs they are on.
The Giants created the blueprint on neutralizing super-Brady and now we
will see if the genius coach can turn another backup into the second
coming of Tom Brady minus the video tape advantage. Even if Brady
returns this season the gig is up. It is more than obvious that teams
are going to come after Brady because he will pick them apart if they
don’t. It is also obvious that the once vaunted Pats O-line is leaking
like a Louisiana shrimp boat in a rain storm.
It was almost comical to see Pats fans strutting around like Brady and
the Pats were never going to be figured out and countered like all of
the dynasties that came before them. The 49ers, Steelers and my
Redskins who all have at least 3 Lombardi trophies all had great runs
but they all were eventually figured out and countered. This is proof
positive that the evolution of the game continues and now the Patriots
must adapt if Brady comes back or not.
The Pats now find themselves in a tough division. The Jets have Favre
who gives them a shot to win every game. The Bills look resurgent and
Miami looks to be improved over last season as well. The Pats are still
the class of the AFC East but the road to redemption just took an off
ramp on to Despair avenue. If Bill Belichek is a true genius this
situation will show it. If he was just riding the wave of a super
talented QB then that will show as well. Pats fans have been spoiled
but all good things come to an end. We are gonna learn a lot about this
franchise over the next 15 games.
