Was TO a coaching problem or a player problem?

I'm sure a lot of folks in Cowboys Nation are happy with the decision to dump Terrell Owens, but I'm pretty certain that TO wasn't the only problem in Cowboy Land. TO wasn't on the field when the Ravens punked the Cowboys defense twice to the tune of two long TD runs in the last game at Texas Stadium. TO wasn't the offensive coordinator who chose to throw the ball the majority of the time instead of establishing a punishing ground game with an O-Line that was built to run. That sounds like a coaching problem to me.
From what I saw TO was relatively well behaved in Dallas. He was also super productive and no one can deny that. The real question I have is why didn't Jason Garrett emphasize the run more to take pressure off of Romo? Garrett could have done that with or without TO. So now the Cowboys are losing 10 touchdowns and they are replacing it with Roy Williams who is a good player but not to be mistaken for TO.
If Dallas wants to win they have to run the football and take the ball out of Romo's hands. Romo has shown a tendency to falter when the Cowboys need him most so how do you help him? You give him a running game that he can rely on when things get tough.

The Cowboys now have a 9 million hit on their cap so they can't sign anyone of note to fill that gaping hole they had a WR. The irony is all Jason Garrett had to do was run the ball more and they could have kept TO and won more games. This was not a TO problem in my opinion. This was a coaching problem.
