The comical irony of it all.....

This Jay Cutler situation got me to thinking. Who was the last QB that whined and pouted himself to another city? Oh, wait it was John Elway refusing to play for the Colts which eventually landed him in Denver. Broncos fans got a great QB while the Colts languished in the basement of the NFL until Peyton Manning and Tony Dungy came to town.
How ironic that so many years later the city of Denver is gonna reap what John Elway sewed many years ago. Jay Cutler will land somewhere else and promptly ascend to greatness while Denver languishes under the leadership of another over-hyped New England disciple in Josh McDaniels. Speaking of over hyped check out what the New England Disciples have done since leaving. Weiss is barely hanging on in Notre Dame, Crennel got fired and Mangini just took his place after getting canned in NY. Talk about a bad case of imperial hubris! McDaniels suffers from Success Transfer Delusion Syndrome (STDS) and it will become very apparent when he takes the field and notices the guys he coaches are not close in talent level to the guys in New England.
Denver had plenty of holes on both sides of the ball prior to this giant blunder with Cutler. Now they will have a gaping crater where their whiny but very good franchise QB used to be. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when John Elway called this situation unfortunate. I consider John Elway a subject matter expert on the issue of whiny QBs that cried themselves out of town. The question now is where does Cutler land and how long Denver stays in the doldrums before they luck up and land another franchise QB. What goes around comes around Denver even if it takes a while.
