Vikings desperation has many faces
By: Turner Sports Desk

Let's start with what we know. Favre is no longer a good quarterback and proved that in NY last season. Brad Childress has been given the win this season or else ultimatum so he decided to go down with his magazines empty. Ladies and gentlemen this is a recipe for desperation which usually results in mistakes.
Enter, or should I say re-re-enter Brett Favre. I guess my next question is who is Favre throwing to in Minnesota because I have no idea who the WRs are (and that is not a good thing). If I'm a defensive coordinator I'm packing the line of scrimmage and making the ancient QB beat me. I'm certainly more afraid of Adrian Peterson than a 40 year old QB fresh off a surgery that was 50/50 in his prime and is more like 40/60 now.
So what have we learned here today? Desperation is not a good mode to make important decisions. Favre is done and now so are the Vikings.
