TSD Weekly Picks

1.       Titans at Steelers – Tennessee dominated this series last season and they look stronger this season. Pittsburgh will be JACKED up for this game especially after Tennessee stomped on the terrible towels last time out. In a game as close as this the QB will make the difference and Big Ben is better than anything Tennessee has at QB.  TSD Pick – Pittsburgh

2.       Dolphins at Falcons – Both Miami and Atlanta are out to prove last season was no fluke. Another interesting matchup but Miami’s defense is much better than Atlanta’s defense. Miami should be able to force more mistakes out of young Matt Ryan and ultimately prevail. TSD Pick - Miami

3.       Chiefs at Ravens – Baltimore rolls easily. TSD Pick – Baltimore

4.       Eagles at Panthers – The TSD upset special is right here. The Carolina Panthers surprise the Eagles at home. This might be the best game to watch on Sunday.  TSD pick – Panthers

5.       Broncos at Bengals – This won’t be pretty for either team. In the end the Bengals make less mistakes than the Broncos. TSD Pick – Bengals

6.       Vikings at Browns – Yawn….Vikings kill man-genius and his surprise QB. Even Brett Favre can’t mess this one up. TSD Pick – Vikings

7.       Jets at Texans – This will be another great game to watch defensively speaking. The Jets defense under Ryan will keep this close but the Texans will win a tight game. TSD pick – Texans.

8.       Jaguars at Colts – Since this is a divisional game it might be closer than people think. Jacksonville can run and they have a decent defense. In the end Peyton Manning prevails. TSD Pick – Colts

9.       Lion at Saints – The good news is the Lions will be better this season. The bad news is Drew Brees and that very prolific Saints offense could hang a “60-burger” on the Lions on Sunday. TSD Pick – Saints

10.   Cowboys at Buccaneers – The question here is what are we going to see? What are the Cowboys going to look like without all the hype and a pretty regular WR Corps? What do the Buccaneers have to offer if anything? TSD Pick – Cowboys

11.   49ers at Cardinals – Arizona will roll over punch less 49ers. TSD Pick – Cardinals

12.   Redskins at Giants – A division game that will be interesting to watch. Eli Manning has a bunch of new WRs but the Redskins defense was one of the best in the NFL last year and they got a lot better with Haynesworth and Orakpo. If The Redskins offense shows anything the Skins will win. If they don’t the Giants win a close game.  TSD Pick – Giants

13.   Rams at Seahawks – The Seahawks make quick work of the hapless Rams. TSD Pick – Seahawks

14.   Bears at Packers – A very good game to watch but the home field proves too much for the Bears to overcome. TSD Pick – Packers

15.   Bills at Patriots – A division game but this could get ugly early. I think the Pats make a statement and hang a 50-burger on the Bills. TSD Pick – Patriots

16.   Chargers at Raiders – The Raider appear to be better and this is a division game but if the Chargers are fired up (and healthy) the Raiders get an opening day pounding at home. TSD Pick – Chargers
