I dont think you should totally take LJ out of the picture but I do agree with getting Charles more into the mix. Use both guys. The bottom line however is no matter who is back there, the O-Line needs to at least touch people. Plus, if they can continue to get the passing game going, that will open up the run more.

I'm picking KC this week. Washington is terrible.

I love seeing Notre Dame lose. I dont like USC either but I'd prefer to see the Fighting Irish fall. Claussen choked, those two passes at the end were terrible.

I am not a fan of Lackey. He is however the top starting pitcher on the market. I think we need to wait and see what Pettitte decides to do. If he comes back, I say we go with CC, A.J. and Pettitte the whole season. No, seriously though, if Pettitte does not come back, we definitely need another starter. Nobody knows when Wang will be ready. I think they should give Hughes another shot, leave Joba in the pen. As for the outfield, have been hearing some rumors. More on that to come.

DG, I agree with you. The problem is with the Big East. The conference needs to negotiate better bowl affiliations. We are slotted down a bowl because the conference does not like teams returning to the same bowl in consecutive years. Rutgers is much better off in the St. Pete's bowl. The timing of the bowl is not good due to class finals and less practice time, but more TV exposure and another chance to make themselves known in the state of Florida!

Yes that is correct. If it ends in a three way tie, Dallas would be out because they were swept by the Giants and lost to the Packers as well. The Giants would be 5 and Packers 6 in that scenario.

I agree with your Charles pick. I think a lot of people will bypass him, and that will be a mistake! The guy can flat out play. Would worry just a little with Weiss as the OC though, he likes to throw the ball. Should be interesting.
